The Grebes tend to get a little bit vocal when others get a little too close for comfort to their nest.

Unfortunately, during three straight days and nights of stormy weather, the Grebes lost their nest. I would estimate they were about two weeks into their egg incubation period. However, they still seem to be determined to raise some little ones this summer, so they're rebuilding. This is their new nest (located approximately ten meters away from the old site), with early construction well under way (below).
Since the Grebes lost their nest, along with the eggs, they need to start all over again.
