On my way home from an early morning setting Full Moon shot I wanted to, and did, capture, on May 16th, I thought to myself..I should stop in at the Bridlewood Wetlands Park ponds. It's been a couple of weeks since I'd had a visit there, and it was a really nice morning weather-wise..sure, why not. I'm quite glad I did. Here's some of what I saw when I was there.
These next couple of photos (below) give a real sense of just how small these Ruddies are. Compared to a Mallard, they are about half their size. It's just too bad I seemed to have caught them at their down/sleepy time, as they're not really doing much activity wise..but I think, also, that's part of the reason why I was able to get some reasonably close-up shots of them. I'll take 'em :)
